The Objective

The CPTF programme is designed to train participants to be qualified professional trainers and facilitators.

By the end of the programme, participants should be able to conduct training needs analysis, design training programmes using appropriate training methods, materials, and visual aids with creativity, develop facilitation skills and deliver training professionally. In addition participants are well equipped with the operational, marketing, and financial aspects of a training practice.

Prerequisite / Entry Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant working experience; or
  • A Diploma with 5 years of relevant working experience;
  • A Non degree or diploma holders can be considered through an interview

Duration of Programme

This is a 3-month programme, comprises of 125 training hours conducted over 12 workshop sessions. The workshops will be held over the weekends - Saturday and/or Sunday.


Training Methods

Various tools and techniques will be used to enhance learning and ensure transfer of knowledge and competency for practical application.

This is a highly interactive, participative and experiential programme which will be conducted through lecture, discussions, assignments, and recording of participant presentation for analysis.

Participants are required to conduct a two-day real time training session individually or in a team of not more than 3 trainers.

  • Discussion 5 Points

Fee

RM 10,750.00 per participant.


Certification

The certification will be awarded by University of Malaya.

Application must be made through the prescribed form, which may be obtained from UMCCed office or can be downloaded here. 

All enclosed academic records and other supporting documents must be certified true copies.

A complete application should consist of the following items:

A complete, signed application form with a passport size photograph
A duly completed Employment Verification Form
Copy of Identification Card / Passport
Copy of SPM/ MCE or GCE 'O' Level 
Certificate or equivalent
