Malaysian Applicants

1. Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subjects; or
2. Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)/ equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C in any subject; or
3. Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum of Grade Maqbul; or
4. Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in the relevant field and Pass SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject; or
5. Certificate (MQF Level 3)/Equivalent; or
6. Pass APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) Certificate; or
7. Other qualifications recognized by the senate of UM; and
8. Obtained at least a Pass in English Language at the SPM level

Non-Malaysian Applicants

       a. Pass at least General Certificate of Education 'O' Level or other qualification recognized by the senate; AND
       b. Obtained the following results in one of the English proficiency exams as described below:
            i. A minimum of Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
           ii. Minimum Band 4.0 for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / CEFR A2;
          iii. A minimum score of 397 (PBT) or 30-31 (IBT) for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL);
          iv. CAE (160) (Cambridge English: Advance) CEFR B2;
           v. CPE (180) (Cambridge English: Proficiency) CEFR C1;or
          vi. PTE (Pearson Test of English) (30)

                                       AND

       c. Fulfils the special entry requirements to the programme of study.

Financial support

   Applicants are eligible to withdraw from their EPF (Account 2).

Programme Duration
The duration of the programme is six (6) semesters which can be completed within 2 years.

The programme is conducted in English as well as in Bahasa Malaysia.
