The programme was developed in association with the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM). The curriculum structure is accredited by the relevant professional bodies in United Kingdom i.e. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK. The successful completion of the programme leads candidate to achieve the award of a degree in the field of building surveying. In the Malaysian context, a professional Building Surveyor is a qualified person, by examination and experience, and a member of the RISM.The main roles and responsibilities of a Building Surveyor in Malaysia, as prescribed by the RISM cover the following areas; Building Control & Space Planning; Risk Control and Building Performance; and Building Maintenance and Conversation Studies.
General Entry Requirements
Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a credit (Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia subject

or
A credit (Grade C) in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia July papers and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

and
Achieve a minimum Band in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) as required in special requirements of the programme.

and
Have fulfilled all special requirements of the programme as may be prescribed by the Senate.
