INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

Universiti Malaya Centre for Continuing Education, Cyberjaya offers
four full-time programmes to high school graduates:

  • Diploma in Management (UDA)
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management (UDB)
  • Diploma in Business Management (UDC)
  • Diploma in Accounting (UDE)

 

These programmes will help students to acquire knowledge and
skills to contribute towards the career of their choice.

(1) Pass the General Certificate of Education ‘O’ Level or its equivalent or any other qualification recognized by the
Senate; and

(2) Achieve the following results in one (1) of the English proficiency examinations stated below:

  1. Minimum Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET);
  2. Minimum Band 4.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / CEFR A2;
  3. Minimum score of 397 (PBT) or 30-31 (IBT) for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL);
  4. CAE (160) (Cambridge English: Advance) CEFR B2;
  5. CPE (180) (Cambridge English: Proficiency) CEFR C1; or
  6. PTE (Pearson Test of English) (30).

and

(3) Fulfill the specific entry requirements for the relevant study program.

Visa / Student Pass

International applicants are required to apply for Visa Approval Letter (VAL) before entering Malaysia. Visa Approval Letter (VAL) will be issued by the Malaysian Immigration Department through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). Applicants may enter Malaysia after the VAL has been approved and can be download through EMGS website https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/ or by UMCCed visa email. The VAL process will normally take 1 to 2 months. (Depends on Immigration processes and decisions).
